FAQ
Questions about hotel automation
Can it be installed in a hotel that is already operating?
In many cases, yes. The best time is outside the season, so the work is done without guests. After a site visit we propose what can be done room by room.
Does the staff need training?
The system is set up to be simple. We train your staff at handover and stay by your side for support.
What happens if the internet goes down?
KNX runs locally. Keypads, scenes and schedules keep working as normal; without internet you only lose remote control until the connection is back.
Does it connect to the booking system?
For booking management we recommend Roomismo, in partnership with Flarmio. Connecting the automation to a specific booking system is reviewed during the study, depending on what that system supports.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the number of rooms and the functions. After a site visit we send you a detailed quote per room and common area.
Planning a renovation or a new hotel?
Hotel projects are best done outside the season. Talk to us early for a study and a quote.
